Always wash cotton kitchen towels and dish cloths before first use. This will remove any excess dyes and the natural oils that can hinder the absorbency of the towel. Washing will also cause the cotton fibers to bloom or open up, thus allowing the towel to become more absorbent. Do not use any fabric softeners. They tend to leave behind a chemical residue that will influence absorbency of the product. Wash your kitchen towels at least once a week or more, depending upon the frequency of use. Machine wash in cold water, with like colors. Tumble dry, low and remove immediately. Use non-chlorine bleach when needed.
Machine wash cold with like colors on gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.
